Job Description:

The Jr. Financial Accountant will assist in managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including AR & AP accounts, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Responsible for assisting in month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing, including preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, secretary, and tax agents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with payment-related work and any other ad-hoc accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA or relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge or experience with accounting software (NetSuite Oracle) system will be an advantage and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Audit experience will be an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
