We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish language teacher to join our team of educators.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who wish to share their love of the Spanish language and culture with students.
The role offers the chance to inspire and motivate students to learn the Spanish language, while also fostering their understanding of the associated culture.
Requirements:
- A university degree in Spanish or a related field.
- A Certificate in Teaching the Spanish Language as a Foreign Language (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's in Education, Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma in Education).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
- Experience teaching in classroom settings at secondary level and preparing students for GCE/GCSE O or A-Level exams will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with setting assessment papers for essay writing, reading comprehension, and grammar.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current best practices, teaching materials, and instructional strategies (e.g., effective application of educational technology).
- Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and an excellent team player who works well with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A working knowledge of English (CEFR B2 level) is necessary.
Applicants should also possess the physical fitness and stamina required to deliver lessons and the resilience needed to engage students safely and effectively carry out their duties.
