Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Customer Service Ambassador to join our team at FIVE OARS COFFEE ROASTERS PTE. LTD. As a key member of our front-of-house crew, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our patrons.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences. As a Customer Service Ambassador, you will be expected to:
  • Offer friendly and efficient service to customers, exceeding their expectations with every interaction.
  • Provide menu recommendations to customers when asked, showcasing your knowledge of our products and services.
  • Process customer orders via Point-of-Sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure all items are prepared and served promptly, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist with setting and clearing the table for various meal periods, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Assist shift manager in planning and organizing special events, contributing to the success of our business.
  • Escalate customers' feedback to the shift manager, providing constructive insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Follow proper hygiene practices in accordance with food & beverage safety and hygiene standards, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the F&B or Retail industry, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Excellent team player and friendly individual, with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • High initiative and a strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays, as well as commit to a 5-day work week.
