Capital Markets Trading Platform Software Engineer

Summary / Purpose of Position:

Collaborate with traders and researchers to design, develop, test, and support proprietary electronic capital markets trading platforms to capitalize on emerging opportunities in global capital markets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for this Position:
  • Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and low-latency trading software solutions.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving discussions with stakeholders to drive innovation and growth.
  • Contribute to the improvement and evolution of software design, development workflows, and maintenance best practices.
  • Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing and acquisition.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
  • Expert proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with test-driven development and continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of software development for Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of software design principles and algorithmic complexity.
  • Strong desire to solve complex problems in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
