Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Description:

  • A highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is required to perform diagnostic medical sonography duties.
  1. General Ultrasound studies including Abdominal USG, Small parts and OBS& GYN are to be performed by the specialist.
  2. Vascular/Doppler studies- Peripheral Arterial & Venous studies and Carotid Ultrasound will be conducted.

The specialist should produce images of diagnostic quality for radiological reports with due regard to patient welfare, clinical responsibility and effective use of technology.

  • Maintenance of imaging modalities, weekly & monthly quality assurance tests, keeping records of all services performed by vendor will be the responsibility of the specialist.
  • Inventory management and ordering schedule for consumables must be maintained.
  • Record keeping of the number of radiographic examinations performed is essential.
  • Supporting the Medical Director and Radiologist in research works carried out by the Centre for publication in medical journals will be a key responsibility.
  • Compliance with directions of Senior Management and promoting company interests will also be expected.
  • Maintenance of current certifications, licenses or other authorizations required for job performance is necessary.
  • Conducting oneself with utmost professionalism and diligence in best interest of the company is vital.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assign by the Radiology Manager and Centre Manager or his / her nominee will be assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Sonography or Medical Imaging Science is mandatory.
  • AHPC registration if applicable.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • 5.5 working days per week.
