Job Title: Associate Principal Solution Architect

The Red Hat Sales team is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive business growth and development in Singapore Public Sector. As a technical sales leader, you will guide customers through the adoption of Red Hat solutions, leveraging your expertise to create value and establish trusted relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer business goals, technical objectives, and IT environments.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner Ecosystem teams to assess the potential application of Red Hat and Partner solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical leadership for the development and implementation of complex solutions and services.
  • Develop strategic relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver proof of value to customers and partners through presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects.
  • Research and write responses to technical sections of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Coordinate the technical efforts of other Red Hat resources, such as Product Specialists, Support, and Professional Services.
  • Deliver compelling recommendations that result in the closing of new sales.
  • Own and meet a bookings quota, performing regular reviews and reports on opportunities.
  • Share expertise by contributing to documentation, developing reusable assets, and presenting at conferences and industry events.
Requirements:
  • Pre-sales, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent experience supporting enterprise accounts.
  • Integration, development, or administration experience with UNIX and Linux systems.
  • Skilled in presenting to small and large groups of mixed audiences, including business, technical, management, and leadership teams.
  • Experienced in developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels within large enterprise IT organizations.
  • Experienced with modern and emerging technologies, including public and private cloud, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
  • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
  • Collaboration with others and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
