System Integration Expert Job Summary

This is a senior-level position that involves managing internal and external stakeholders, organizing and conducting system-level tests, analyzing the root cause of failed tests, and initiating processes to decide on solutions. The role requires travel to various parts of the world, meeting diverse cultures and seeing new places.

The successful candidate will be part of the management team in an airport and parcel project, working closely with a project manager and project leaders from hardware- and software-engineering disciplines. The key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Managing the functional design to ensure customer requirements are translated into the right solution with minimal risks.
  • Advising on the use of standard solutions and their impact.
  • Identifying risks and finding solutions to reduce them.
  • Realizing the system integration plan, test plans, and test specifications in collaboration with Solution Architects and Integration Engineers.
  • Managing the test phase and ensuring a smooth transition to customers' operational processes.
  • Understanding customer processes and advising on correctly estimating the impact of changes.
  • Progress monitoring with clear, concise reporting.
  • Managing component deliveries by suppliers through verification and validation.
  • Integrating subsystems into existing customer systems.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A technical or logistics education at least at Bachelor level or Master level.
  • Experience as a system integrator and familiarity with systems engineering processes (requirement management, verification and validation, change management, and configuration management).
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to motivate people at all levels and a team builder.
  • Willingness to travel for about 50% of your time.
