Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure specimen identification, processing, and storage are in accordance with good laboratory practices.
  • Verify the accuracy and reliability of test results provided to clinicians.
  • Maintain a well-stocked laboratory with necessary supplies.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks in the laboratory.
  • Operate laboratory instruments and perform routine testing.
  • Process laboratory specimens for testing and storage.
  • Transport specimens to and from the laboratory for processing.
  • Perform other functions as delegated by the supervisor or lead laboratory.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a science-related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and other relevant software.
