The role of a Resident Physician involves working alongside a team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and support the development of healthcare services.

Responsibilities- To perform duties at the same level as a Medical Officer, including on-call responsibilities and roster commitments.
- To provide guidance and supervision to junior staff members.
- To prepare and submit accurate medical reports within specified timeframes.
- To ensure the completion and accuracy of Hospital Inpatient Discharge Summary Forms.
- To assist senior medical staff in managing Specialist Outpatient Clinics.
- To keep relatives informed about patients' conditions.
- To explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
- To certify deaths and obtain autopsy consent where necessary.
- To notify senior medical staff of significant issues and discharges against medical advice.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly adaptable, and able to work independently.
Requirements- MBBS or postgraduate qualification recognized by the Singapore Medical Council.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Medical Officer.
- Ability to work independently in a departmental setting.
- Highly adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
