Job Description:

The Clinical Research Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the operational team of the Clinical Trials & Research Unit. Key responsibilities include managing and supervising a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, providing on-the-job training for junior colleagues, leading and mentoring them to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

Close collaboration with Principal Investigators (PIs), study teams, sponsor representatives, and colleagues is crucial to support research initiatives and activities that align with the organization's research vision. Additionally, the coordinator must ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies by providing guidance and support on research project administration.

In this capacity, the Clinical Research Coordinator will spearhead complex research projects, develop study-specific documents, and assist with overall project planning. The coordinator will also be responsible for preparing and handling study-specific audits and inspections as well as initiating internal and external quality control activities.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board practicing certificate or a degree in Life Science/Pharmaceutical Science/Clinical Trials Management is mandatory.
  • At least 7 years of experience in clinical research activities are required.
  • Bilingualism or proficiency in local dialects is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate should possess meticulous attention to detail and focused work habits.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task are essential.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are vital for success in this role.
