About This Role

G-STARS AGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager cum Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Technical Oversight and Coordination:
    • Ensure design and construction works meet specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and consultants, to ensure project requirements are met.
    • Analyze and optimize design solutions using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other tools to ensure efficiency and feasibility.
  • Site Supervision and Quality Control:
    • Supervise site activities, including management of subcontractors and labor force, to ensure progress aligns with project schedules.
    • Liaise with surveyors and qualified persons for site inspections and quality control checks.
    • Address and resolve technical challenges or issues that arise during construction promptly, minimizing disruption to progress.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
    • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Lead and participate in regular project team meetings to identify and resolve challenges, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
    • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, and amendments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
    • Provide detailed progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key developments and issues.
    • Ensure timely submission of invoices and tracking of payments to manage project finances effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management, recognized by BCA.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience, preferably in facade or construction industries.
  • Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with construction management software, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation tools.
Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
