About the Role

We are seeking a passionate DAC Associate Coach to join our team and contribute to creating a nurturing environment for our clients with autism. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and experience in supporting individuals with autism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive systems for administrative tasks, including IEPs, ICPs, and training programs.
  • Design and lead therapeutic activities tailored to meet individual client needs and goals.
  • Develop and manage an inventory of training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily available.
  • Provide attentive supervision to clients during indoor and outdoor activities, prioritizing their safety and overall welfare.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and consultants to enhance supervision methods and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

Client Support

  • Take proactive measures to ensure the well-being and positive behavior of clients, following guidance and recommendations from supervisors and consultants.
  • Conduct pre- and post-agency visits for transfer cases, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care for clients.
  • Regularly visit clients' homes to monitor their welfare and maintain strong connections with their families.
  • Uphold high cleanliness and safety standards within the centre, creating a comfortable and secure environment for everyone.
  • Demonstrate utmost respect for client confidentiality, maintaining their privacy at all times.

Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to enhance our collective ability to support clients.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • At least an ITE Certification/O Level/A Level/ Diploma from a recognized educational institution.
  • Relevant experience in Special Education, Nursing, Counselling, or Care services is preferred.
  • Experience in Community Service with exposure to youths/adults with autism is an added advantage.
  • Compassionate and patient personality.
  • Committed to the education and nurturing of youths/adults with autism.
  • Working Location: Hougang Ave 6.
