Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dish Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of food safety and hygiene.

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all items are stored in their proper places after cleaning.
  • Maintain the dishwashing area, sinks, and floor clean and organized.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage appropriately.
  • Report any faulty or damaged equipment to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards in a kitchen environment.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Participating in deep cleaning activities as required.
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
  • Providing support to colleagues during peak periods.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is highly desirable.
  • Physical fitness, enabling you to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 20kg).
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Reliability, hard work, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Able to work on weekend/public holidays.
  • Familiarity with standard kitchen procedures and practices.
