Job Title: Technical Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a pivotal position within our organization, overseeing multiple projects and leading teams in the development of system and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead complex projects across system and cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive project lifecycle management, including strategic planning, architecture, security, implementation, and operations.
  • Manage large-scale systems, encompassing capacity planning, provisioning, essential maintenance, and rapid service recovery, while ensuring adherence to SLAs and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate on service continuity measures, such as backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plans, to maintain seamless business operation.
  • Assume rotating standby duties and serve as the primary technical escalation point for operational issues.
  • Take ownership of escalated incidents, promptly investigate root causes, and implement effective resolutions, ensuring timely communication of progress.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and their potential applications in our infrastructure, involving continuous learning about advancements and evaluating their relevance for enhancing efficiency, productivity, and exploring new possibilities.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in security policy and compliance, with at least 2 years of experience in handling security and network infrastructure, e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, authentication systems (AD, TACACS, Radius).
  • Strong internet systems knowledge, e.g., DNS, DHCP, IPAM.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, e.g., Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM), VMware, Hyper-V.
  • In-depth understanding of major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and others (e.g., Alibaba, Naver Cloud, Nokia).
  • Understanding of Representational State Transfer (REST) and Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
  • Strong expertise in technology infrastructure domains, such as virtual server technologies, networking, internet protocols, scripting & monitoring tools, as well as infrastructure automation methodologies and technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in cloud technology platforms (in Architecture or Networking), Container Architecture, Systems and/or Network Virtualization.
  • Knowledge of telco networks, such as Mobile and Fixed, is advantageous.
  • A passion for software development, automation, and new technologies/innovations for business and operational excellence.
