About the Role

This role will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to In-flight Entertainment Systems on aircraft subjected to Federal Aviation Regulations Part 121, 127 or 135, or 145. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting, with experience working on commercial aviation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform built-in test (BIT) and manual test of IFE systems.
  • Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable modules, using knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.
  • Operate a vehicle on airport property and around aircraft.
  • Communicate and interface with customers.
Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Engineering/ Electronics Technology/Aerospace Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Holds current and valid Singapore CAAS B2 (Avionics) license with 2 or more aircraft type rating.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
