Job Title: Tax Expertise

Our organization is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented tax professional to provide tax compliance and advisory services to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income filing and withholding tax returns.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting clients in responding to queries from the tax authorities, attending to client inquiries, and applying for GST registration or de-registration as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing clients' corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income filing and withholding tax returns;
  • Support clients in responding to queries from the tax authorities;
  • Attend to queries from clients and all matters arising from a portfolio of clients;
  • Apply for GST registration/de-registration;
  • Prepare, review, and file GST quarterly returns;
  • Assist clients in applying for certain GST relief schemes;
  • Conduct GST health checks, ASK and ACAP reviews for clients;
  • Handle GST audits and investigations;
  • Making voluntary disclosure of errors to IRAS;
  • Apply for advance rulings on the GST treatment of proposed transactions.
Requirements
  • Preferably a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy or SCTP Accredited Tax Professionals are preferred;
  • Positive attitude with great communication skills, meticulous, analytical, and the ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Entry-level candidates with recognized university degrees who are interested to pursue a career in tax are also welcome to apply as training will be provided;
  • Candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience will be considered for Senior position;
  • Strong written and verbal English skills;
  • Good knowledge of tax laws and regulations;
  • Good report writing and interpersonal skills;
  • Singaporean only.
