Job DescriptionAs a Compliance Manager - IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's internal compliance framework and documentation. This includes maintaining SOC 2/HIPAA audits and readiness, as well as managing access controls and vendor risk reviews.
You will collaborate with engineering and security teams to validate infrastructure compliance across environments and maintain internal dashboards and risk logs to track audit cycles and remediation progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Legal background or certifications in privacy, compliance, or security (e.g., CIPP, CISSP, CISA)
- Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 42001, 21 CFR Part 11, and other frameworks
- Compliance automation platforms (Vanta) and procurement and risk reviews in highly regulated industries
- Managing and validating compliance controls in cloud environments
- High attention to detail and ability to independently own risk assessments, audit cycles, and infrastructure QA
