Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantitative Analyst Intern to join our team at OCBC Bank. As an intern, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, providing analytics and administrative support to our Asset Liability Management and Credit Portfolio Management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and VBA/Python processes to support our ALM and CPM portfolios.
  • Provide analytics and administrative support to our ALM and CPM teams, including monitoring and checking of P&L and portfolio risk.
  • Create dashboards in Tableau and Python programs to automate administrative operations and generate trade ideas.
  • Conduct data mining and data analysis on market and company financial data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of financial markets, financial modeling, and economics.
  • Programming experience with VBA/Python and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Tableau dashboards and data analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Business Analytics/Computer Science/Statistics or other similar disciplines).
