Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Research Engineer to join our team in the field of coastal engineering. The successful candidate will work on investigating AI tracking of coastal structures with novel sensing and monitoring, environmental modelling, and environmental impact assessment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct experimental measurements and numerical simulations to train and validate AI tracking algorithms.
  • Perform life cycle analysis to identify benefits of AI tracking.
  • Collect good quality data through field experiments in the coastal environment.
  • Organize international meetings and forums (prior experience preferred).
Qualifications
  • Possess at least a bachelor's degree in related areas with emphasis on AI-driven image recognition, environmental data analysis, experimental testing in the field and laboratory, hydrodynamic modelling, or relevant topics.
  • A master's degree in civil engineering is preferred.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be open to fixed-term contract.
