Reconciliations Expert in Listed Derivatives

This pivotal role ensures trade, position, and cash reconciliations integrity across APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash across multiple APAC exchanges and clearing houses.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks timely and accurately.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external parties to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all reconciliations are completed within market deadlines and internal SLAs.
  • Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of reconciliation outcomes and break resolutions.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and aged breaks to management with commentary.
  • Operational Risk Mitigation: Monitor and enhance reconciliation controls to mitigate operational risk.
  • Support audits by providing reconciliation documentation and commentary.
  • Workflows Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation workflows and reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Partner with technology teams to implement automation and system enhancements.
  • Regional Coverage & Collaboration: Support APAC market-specific nuances including exchange rules, settlement cycles, and product structures.
  • Collaborate with regional teams in APAC hubs to ensure consistency and best practices.
Eligibility Requirements

5+ years of experience in listed derivatives operations, focusing on reconciliations. Strong understanding of APAC listed derivatives markets and clearing processes. Proficiency in reconciliation tools and systems. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
