About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Growth Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our growth operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow multiple communities across Asia-based countries.

As a specialist in community growth, you will analyze the landscape, partner with organizations, and proactively identify emerging trends to accelerate community engagement and subreddit growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deeply understand core metrics for growth and develop action plans.
  • Support partners with the setup of new subreddits.
  • Drive the end-to-end logistics and execution of Reddit AMAs.
  • Develop an understanding of the culture of focus subreddits.
  • Write announcement posts and content appealing to Redditors.
  • Support data analysis and ad-hoc research efforts to guide growth strategy.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and present findings clearly.
  • Experience dealing with external partners and pitching initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of how Reddit works and user expectations.
  • Thorough understanding of the country, its language, and its culture.
  • Good understanding of the local Reddit ecosystem.
  • Interest in topic verticals (e.g., cinema, celebrities, gaming, etc.).
