Role Summary:

A senior project leader is required to oversee the delivery of construction projects in the ACMV sector.

  • About the Role:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing onsite operations, vendors, subcontractors and clients, ensuring efficient project execution and resolution of challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Scope Definition:

    • Define project scope, set goals and determine deliverables with the director.

  • Project Scheduling & Budgeting:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing timelines, resource allocation and budgets to ensure projects stay on track.

  • Coordination & Progress Monitoring:

    • Collaborate with the senior project manager to ensure project progress aligns with submission deadlines, schedules and milestones, addressing any issues or delays.

  • Subcontractor & Team Management:

    • Oversee the performance of subcontractors, supervisors and workers, while liaising with clients, authorities and consultants to resolve any bottlenecks.

  • Compliance & Safety:

    • Evaluate that the project complies with safety regulations, industry standards and legal requirements.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Update stakeholders on project status, highlighting key achievements and challenges.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate potential project risks proactively.

  • Quality Control:

    • Maintain high standards of quality control by conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues promptly.

  • Site Reporting:

    • Track project progress and report any deviations from the initial project plan.

  • Safety Compliance & Risk Assessment:

    • Conduct regular safety assessments to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • At least 10 years of experience working in ACMV systems, including project management and engineering roles.

  • Qualifications:

    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in ACMV system installation, CHWP, VRV, VRF systems.

    • Strong technical knowledge in HVAC systems design, installation and maintenance.

  • Software Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with project management software and technical drawings.

  • Industry Knowledge:

    • Understanding of ACMV engineering principles, industry standards and regulations.

  • Project Management Skills:

    • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.

  • Leadership & Management:

    • Ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving:

    • Strong analytical abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex issues.
