Key Performance Indicators For This Role:

  • Quotation Development: Create and submit highly competitive quotations based on thoroughly reviewed ship repair specifications.
  • Client Management: Manage follow-ups with vessel owners after quotation submission to secure projects, and coordinate with subcontractors to negotiate better pricing.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with owners and superintendents when they visit the yard.

Job Requirements:

Education:
  • Degree or Diploma in Relevant Field: Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, Offshore, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
  • Relevant Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the ship repair or marine industry.
Skills:
  • Technical Competence: Strong technical knowledge in relevant trades.
  • Negotiation and Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
