This role is responsible for providing technical expertise in commercial matters related to construction projects. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Measurement and Pricing: Estimate costs and develop pricing strategies for construction projects
- Cost Planning and Estimation: Prepare cost plans and estimates for projects, including quantifying materials and labor costs
- Progress Claims and Variation Orders: Manage progress claims and variation orders, ensuring that they are processed efficiently and effectively
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field, with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering. They will also have proficiency in MS Office and experience in contract administration for rail or civil engineering projects.
