Senior Signal Integrity Engineer Position

Signal Integrity Specialist

Overview:

  • Responsible for ensuring signal integrity in chip design, package design and PCB design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model high-speed I/O and power rails using electromagnetic theory, transmission line theory and microwave theory.
  • Develop and implement SI/PI design flow using time domain and frequency domain modeling and simulation tools from ANSYS, Cadence, Keysight and others.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve SI/PI issues and ensure successful product delivery.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in SI/PI engineering.
  • Deep understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission line theory and microwave theory.
  • Proficient in data processing with Python, Matlab or other languages.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as the high-speed oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with MIPI D-PHY, C-PHY and PAM-4.
  • Good communication skills and team work.

Education:

MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
