Global Central Planning Senior Manager/Director

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Planning Senior Manager/Director to lead the global central planning across various global facilities operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in establishing a centralized governance and framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute production planning, capacity, and resource allocation strategies across short-term tactical, mid-term, and long-term strategic planning horizons.
  • Spearhead efforts to optimize capacity and resource allocation, aligning with business expansion and growth initiatives.
  • Design and establish a centralized governance and framework for planning processes, ensuring harmonization across sites and the business organization.
  • Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, negotiate favorable terms, and manage procurement budgets effectively.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance planning tools and systems, focusing on projects and initiatives to streamline workflow processes and improve sustainability and scalability globally.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or relevant professional certification advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Centralized Planning, managing complex global networks, and achieving cost savings.
  • Experience in driving capacity expansion, backend operations in Semiconductor/Assembly & Testing Technologies beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Educational Background and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with an MBA or relevant certifications advantageous.
  • At least 15 years of experience in Central Planning, preferably managing global networks and achieving cost savings.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $150,000-$200,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
