About the Role

We are seeking an experienced data expert to join our team as a Senior Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing our routing platform, which is a key component of our services across various marketplaces, food delivery, and logistics.

Your responsibilities will include building data products, designing and analyzing experiments, performing literature surveys, and developing/maintaining production-grade data pipelines. You will work closely with our data, product, and engineering teams to solve complex geospatial problems.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Designing and analyzing experiments to support business decisions
  • Performing exploratory data analysis using SQL/R/Python and presenting insights to stakeholders
  • Building self-serve data products such as dashboards and tables to reduce time to insights
  • Developing theoretical models to understand customer use-cases and needs

You will also work with Data Scientists, Product Engineers, and Product Managers to deploy and scale data science solutions for routing systems and geospatial data.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in data analysis and experimentation
  • Experience in geospatial-related fields (GIS, Mapping, Geospatial, Openstreetmap, POI Data, etc.)
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics/Econometrics/Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science/Geoinformatics)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (R, Python) and familiarity with SQL
  • Prior experience with applied statistics and experimental design
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders
