Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an ESG Supply Chain Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in supply chain management to drive business growth and success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the maintenance and repair of packaging assets. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including labeling, safety markings, and transportation regulations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the maintenance and repair of packaging assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including labeling and safety markings.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics for safe handling, transport, and delivery schedules.
- Implement overall ESG supply chain activities that support business strategies adapting to changing market conditions.
- Direct engagement with forwarders, including carriers, for full negotiation and selection.
- Document management and communication with stakeholders for products, packaging assets, and freight.
- Responsible for booking shipments in carrier systems or portnets and follow through.
- Coordinate with transporters and internal functions to ensure timely shipment, containers movement arrival schedules, and cylinder integrity for filling.
- Ensure accuracy on Bill of Lading for custom declaration and clearance, including full and complete shipping records or any export permits preparation.
- Manage products responsibility, including shipping document preparations/declarations to ensure all local, state, and national regulations are complied with.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas such as sales, warehouse, quality assurance, or distribution.
- Assist in sourcing initiatives across ASEAN in collaboration with product management, strategic procurement, and business teams.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Hands-on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP, ERP, EAM).
- Good ESG product knowledge on hazard classifications, chemical properties, and compatibilities.
- Strong understanding of gas packaging and valve technology.
- Knowledge on IMDG, international, and domestic freight terms.
- Financial skills with a strong analytical approach.
- Experience in international shipping trade, DG cargo handling experience preferred.
- Diploma in Engineering, Maritime, or other related field.
- Experience in forwarding, shipping lines.
