Key Responsibilities
  • Manage application jobs and provide instructions to the Level 1 Application Operations team for jobs recovery/execution
  • Perform Operational Requests, including adhoc batch file execution, SFTP authentication and authorization, and sanity checks after server maintenance activities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of application architecture and its interaction with various systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and diverse populations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and programming languages, including Java, SQL, and Unix
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Build and update knowledge base from incident and problem tickets
  • Comply with client's standards, including the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT security policies, best practices, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of application architecture and its interaction with various systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of Java, SQL, and Unix programming languages
