Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Custom Private Equity Portfolio Manager to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for building custom private equity portfolios for clients, focusing on private equity, venture capital, private credit, private real assets, and co-investments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Custom Private Equity Portfolios: Structure and implement diversified private equity portfolios for clients, reviewing portfolio objectives and constraints, evaluating managers, and developing an appropriate forward investing schedule.
- Participate in Private Equity Manager Research: Contribute to due diligence reports and develop relationships with managers to access promising investment opportunities, meeting with managers and attending annual meetings.
- Serve as an Internal Resource: Leverage internal research to speak and write knowledgeably about the private equity market and managers, serving as a resource to the broader staff on implementing and maintaining private investments programs.
- Represent Cambridge Associates Externally: Actively participate in marketing presentations, conferences, and other business development opportunities, including RFP pitches and prospect calls.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred, gained from work in a similar capacity at either a family office, large institutional investor, fund-of-funds, or at a private equity firm.
- MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- An ability to work independently and in teams.
- Willing to travel between Singapore, Hong Kong, the US/Europe, and other parts of Asia as needed.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
