About the RoleThis is a senior leadership position within our culinary team, responsible for overseeing the operation of the pastry section.
Main Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the pastry and bakery section, ensuring seamless execution of menu items.
- Prepare high-quality baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and bread according to established recipes.
- Develop innovative pastry creations and ideas to drive menu renewal and customer engagement.
- Create visually appealing desserts to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards across dessert offerings, adhering to food safety and handling protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies within budget constraints while maintaining efficiency.
- Inspect equipment and materials, reporting any issues or maintenance needs to senior management.
- Report safety hazards, unsafe practices, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
- Foster a culture of compliance, adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
