Job ResponsibilitiesProgramme Development
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and programme scope to identify service requirements.
  • Identify emerging trends impacting programme success and develop strategies to leverage them.
  • Apply relevant principles, frameworks, and best practices in developing social service programmes.
  • Develop and review service frameworks for programme work plans, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Determine optimal resource allocation for programmes based on established criteria.
  • Adapt and incorporate best practices and trends into programme development.
  • Foster collaborations/partnerships with agencies, funders/sponsors, and stakeholders in the social service sector for community development and reintegration.
  • Pilot and refine service parameters to ensure successful programme implementation.
  • Identify and leverage community resources and/or funding schemes to support programme objectives.
Programme Implementation
  • Customise programmes and services to meet client or programme objectives.
  • Develop strategies to address causes of client disengagement.
  • Design and implement promotional strategies to enhance programme participation.
  • Coordinate resource allocation for programme execution, including logistics and manpower planning.
  • Collaborate with other organisations to achieve programme goals.
Programme Evaluation
  • Analyse and validate evaluation outcomes defined in programme plans.
  • Review programme relevance and alignment against established objectives.
  • Provide programme review and feedback to social service professionals and stakeholders.
  • Assess new developments, best practices, and standards to improve programme development and implementation.
  • Recommend improvements to organisational policies and processes impacting programmes.
Stakeholder Management
  • Organise stakeholder engagements with team members, clients, and/or stakeholders.
  • Address stakeholder needs and conduct stakeholder analysis.
  • Maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and/or stakeholders.
Compliance
  • Monitor and update KPIs for Reporting Officer and Centre Director regularly.
  • Ensure programme expenditure remains within budget.
  • Evaluate KPIs to ensure achievement within set timelines as per funding agency requirements.
  • Vet/Prepare reports ensuring accurate information/data.
Staff Supervision
  • Provide regular supervision for staff on workload and administrative matters.
  • Guide staff in reflecting on their work and supporting professional development.
  • Manage staff with varying capabilities and initiate career planning, prioritising work plans to align with organisational strategic goals.
