About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Associate to join our team in Singapore. This role will be part of the Global Compliance Department and will support the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of our organization.

Job Description

The Compliance Associate will be responsible for compliance management of our business in Singapore, including RMO trading venue. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Singapore and other regulatory frameworks, as well as experience with MAS systems. Key responsibilities will include preparing and submitting regulatory and compliance returns, analyzing local and regional regulatory developments, new compliance legislation, and market developments. Additionally, the Compliance Associate will assist with KYC checks, compliance monitoring, and market surveillance as required, draft and maintain policies and procedures, and assist in the completion of board and committee reports.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management of our business in Singapore
  • Knowledge of Singapore and other regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with MAS systems
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory and compliance returns
  • Analyzing local and regional regulatory developments, new compliance legislation, and market developments
  • Assisting with KYC checks, compliance monitoring, and market surveillance
  • Drafting and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the completion of board and committee reports
Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree or higher education level in Law, Business, or Technology. Certification in a professional association such as ACAMS would be an advantage. You should also have 3-5 years' experience in the financial services sector, above-average communication and conflict resolution skills, high independence, process orientation, analytical and conceptual skills, decision-making ability, and results orientation. Working language is English, but other languages are an advantage.
