Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Homeward Helper. As a Homeward Helper, you will be responsible for providing support and supervision to primary school children outside of their school hours.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to coach primary school subjects adequately, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine interest in guiding and nurturing children. Prior experience in student care and/or enrichment settings is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students with their daily routines, including mealtime, homework supervision, academic learning, and recreational activities.
• Provide care, guidance, and support to primary school children outside of their school hours.
• Assist the main teacher with classroom management.
• Assist in organizing and delivering holistic programs (both indoor and outdoor).
• Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for students.
• Accompany children home on the school bus after school.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in any discipline.
• Able to coach primary school subjects adequately.
• Strong communication skills.
• Genuine interest towards guiding and nurturing children.
• Undergraduates are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in student care and/or enrichment setting would be an advantage.

Benefits:

$12 / hr hourly rate.

Commitment:

Minimum 3 days a week, minimum of 6 months.
