Job Role:
A Manager, Course Approval is responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of SSG-funded courses. They will report to the Team Lead and work with a team to maintain high standards in the Continuing Education and Training (CET) ecosystem.

About the Job:

The role involves supporting course accreditation, conducting quality checks, handling escalated inquiries, and facilitating vendor payments. The Manager will contribute to maintaining the integrity of the TGS and ensuring that courses meet adult learning principles and SSG requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support course accreditation, edits, and renewals by processing courses in the Training Grants System (TGS)
  • Conduct course quality checks by reviewing course applications, materials, and assessment records against adult learning principles and SSG requirements
  • Handle escalated enquiries and appeals from the public and training providers relating to courses
  • Perform new case assignments to officers, ensuring efficient workflow and case management
  • Facilitate monthly payments to vendors and liaise with vendors to create Qualtrics system license accounts for new RTPs

Requirements:

  • Possess the required competencies to execute the job duties proficiently
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Continuing Education and Training (CET)
  • Experience in or an appreciation of adult education in Singapore
  • Good analytical skills to facilitate investigation, evaluation, and analysis of public complaints/feedback/whistleblowing
