Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable function.

  • Manage and process incoming invoices, cheques, and other financial documents.
  • Verify and reconcile monthly supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with business units and suppliers to resolve queries and address concerns.
  • Email payment advice to suppliers and stakeholders as required.
  • Review and process staff claims, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
