Job Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS Cloud (GCC) and Terraform.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assisting in hands-on coding and scripting to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Conducting and participating in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary education in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the relevant role, with a focus on cloud solutioning and DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms like GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Sonarqube.
  • Infra-as-Code expertise with CloudFormation and Terraform skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology concepts, including relational databases, cloud-based architectures, docker, and containers.
