Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facade Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design, development, and implementation of building facades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To prepare detailed design calculations for building facades using industry-leading design software.
  • To review and validate calculation and shop drawings to ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and engineering analyses to determine project viability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and project teams to develop solutions for structural issues related to facade works.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
  • Continuously explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in civil or structural engineering design in a facade industry.
  • Proficient in the use of design software such as AutoCAD, Bentley, and structural analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
