Relief Teacher Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to fill a relief position in our school.

  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure school rules are adhered to.
  • Supervise students during class, recess or other activities as required.
  • Provide constructive feedback or handover notes to the regular teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can work independently and provide high-quality teaching services. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and experience in classroom management.

The Relief Teacher will be responsible for conducting lessons according to provided lesson plans or subject requirements. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to the school administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students.
  • Assess and report student progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
