Job Title: Visual Communications Specialist.

We are seeking an experienced Wayfinding & Signage Designer to join our creative design team focusing on creating intuitive and visually appealing wayfinding systems within hospitality environments and mixed-use developments. This role is based in Singapore, with a conveniently located office in the CBD area easily accessible by public transportation. You will work in a multi-cultural and diverse environment collaborating closely with interior designers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop innovative wayfinding solutions that align with project goals and brand identities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from concept to implementation by guiding designers, managing project deliverables, and consultants.
  • Develop user-centric wayfinding concepts.
  • Strategically think about wayfinding strategies and systems.
  • Possess strong design conceptualization skills through meaningful stories and ability to clearly articulate design decisions and ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Present designs effectively to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements, present design work, and address project-specific challenges.
  • Visualize and document ideas in 2D and 3D.
  • Possess illustration, typography, composition, and information design skills.
  • Plan, document, and manage wayfinding and signage projects.
  • Familiarity with architectural construction documents, sections, plans, and elevations, proficiency in drawing in scale.
  • Knowledge of print production, signage fabrication, and materials, along with vendor management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, architecture, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in wayfinding design, ideally with a focus on hospitality projects and large-scale developments.
  • Proven experience and portfolio of wayfinding and signage design projects.
  • Singaporean/Singapore PR (no visa sponsorship required).
  • Strong understanding of materials, production techniques, and installation methods.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and standards for signage and wayfinding.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Knowledge of CAD Tools, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other 3D programs preferred.
  • Fluency in English. Mandarin Chinese would be an advantage.
