About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Global Data Analytics Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and passion for data culture and analytics.
- Collaborate with global business units to design and deliver data-driven solutions on the Global Data Analytics Platform.
- Integrate and manage new global data sources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, reliable data.
- Implement automated data quality checks and metadata-driven frameworks to govern data engineering processes.
- Design, build, and maintain data warehouse models, data pipelines, and transformation workflows.
- Develop and support advanced analytics tools, including data science sandboxes, ML models, generative AI, data marts, catalogues, and lineage.
- Degree from a recognized university, preferably in Data Analytics or Computer Science domain;
- At least two years hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, including at least one year using Microsoft and/or Databricks data tools;
- Knowledge of data warehouse concept (Star, snowflake or data vault) methodology and experience in designing data warehouse dimensional modelling;
- Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics/Datawarehouse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, Azure Fabric, and Python;
- Preferably with relevant certifications from Microsoft, including Azure Data Engineer Associate, and/or Databricks, including Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate;
- Preferably with hands-on experience in using Azure OpenAI and/or Azure AI Services;
