Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Position

The Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in heavy duty vehicles, including engines, transmission systems, brakes, and suspension.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heavy duty vehicles, including engines, transmission systems, brakes, and suspension
  • Troubleshoot engine, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify root causes of issues
  • Replace or repair damaged or worn-out parts
  • Use diagnostic tools and computer systems to analyze vehicle problems
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess minimum NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2 Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Possess knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram, deep engine, transmission and brake system is an advantage
