Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and enhance the reliability of equipment within utilities and facilities, collaborating with production teams and contractors to mitigate future issues.
  • Compile and assess inventory lists for spare parts and equipment data, ensuring the availability of critical components.
  • Streamline spare parts management and maintain effective stock levels utilizing CMMS TMQ-W.
  • Prevent operational downtime by ensuring the readiness of spare parts.
  • Conduct servicing of utilized equipment and components to guarantee their operational readiness at all times.
  • Oversee in-house contractors to ensure timely and efficient maintenance execution.
  • Develop and implement a routine maintenance and inspection schedule for plant equipment, coordinating with contractors for preventive and periodic inspections of both rotating and static equipment.
  • Manage annual maintenance shutdowns related to facilities, overseeing actual site work and liaising with contractors and production teams.
  • Revise and update the long-term maintenance strategy for facilities and utility equipment.
  • Ensure compliance of all maintenance activities with company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in plant and facilities maintenance within a chemical processing environment.
  • Proficient hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, blowers, boilers, chillers, and conveyors.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance technologies in a manufacturing process plant setting.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors independently and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
