Job Opportunity

The role of a Business Analyst encompasses ensuring the successful delivery of government projects. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing multiple ICT vendors and external service providers, working closely with application, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless project delivery, and facilitating workshops with business users to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.

  • Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and document problems with clear recommendations and solutions.
  • Review and validate project deliverables such as functional specifications, test plans, and user documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet business needs.
  • System Enhancements & Service Requests
  • Assess and prioritize requests for system enhancements and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met for projects, incidents, and support activities.
  • Identify and assess potential project risks, recommending mitigation measures where necessary.
  • Ensure all systems, processes, and documentation comply with IT management, quality assurance, and security policies.
  • Manage and resolve day-to-day IT issues related to applications, infrastructure, or security.
  • Facilitate smooth business operations by ensuring system stability and availability.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in Computer/Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in web development projects and daily IT operations.
  • Strong background in .NET or J2EE applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT governance and security frameworks.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex application, infrastructure, and security challenges, particularly in Singapore government settings.
  • Sharp analytical mind with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker who can both see the big picture and dive deep into technical details.
  • Proven ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with experience influencing at all levels.
