Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Market Risk Expert.

Job Description
  • To oversee and manage market risks across Singapore operations, ensuring timely and prudent action is taken to mitigate potential losses.
  • Evaluate daily trading activities, assess market risk capital usage, and monitor exposure levels in accordance with established risk frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Treasury staff and Head Office Risk team to develop and implement market risk methodologies and systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control market risks, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Develop and implement stress testing strategies to identify potential market risk exposures.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on market risk assessments and controls for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in market risk management or quantitative analysis in a financial institution or consulting capacity.
  • Proven expertise in trading, market risk methodologies, securities valuations, and derivatives.
  • Familiarity with VBA, Bloomberg, and Murex platforms.
