About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to join our team at People Profilers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute maintenance plans, coordinating with in-house and external contractors to ensure timely and effective completion.
  • Analyze equipment reliability, working closely with production groups and contractors to prevent recurrence and implement RCA follow-up actions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory control, ensuring critical spares are available and optimizing stock levels using CMMS.
  • Lead shutdown/Grade change maintenance planning, management of actual site work, and liaison with contractors and production groups.
  • Ensure good knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC system maintenance and inspection of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Diagnose E&I problems, ensuring repairs are carried out effectively, and lead troubleshooting efforts.
  • Support implementation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health Management System (e.g., SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Acknowledge legal obligations for workplace safety and assist management in reducing Major Accident Hazards to ALARP.
  • Work collaboratively as a team, supporting inter and intra-departmental works, and demonstrate company Core Values.
  • Ensure compliance with EHSQ policies by reviewing and implementing MSRA.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an E&I Supervisor in the Chemical Engineering or Petrochemical Plant industry.
  • Understanding of maintenance technology, equipment, instruments, electrical, and manufacturing processes.
  • Able to manage contractors/vendors independently and effectively.
  • Availability to support 24-hour plant operation needs.
