Electronics Technician Role Overview

\

This Electronics Technician role involves the repair and maintenance of complex electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics engineering principles and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Support the commissioning of marine and offshore systems, ensuring installations meet design specifications and safety standards.\
  • Perform field service work and workshop repairs, attending sites and performing breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installation, and commissioning tasks.\
  • Complete approximately 10 service/installation jobs daily across Singapore.\
  • Perform on-site repairs and installations at customer locations.\
  • Execute soldering, crimping, and cable termination with precision and consistency.\
  • Carry out maintenance, repairing, and servicing tasks (Electrical / Aircon / Mechanical / Building / Repairs).\
  • Report fault issues to the supervisor and follow applicable SOPs and safety standards.\
  • Flexible time schedules due to nature of job.\
  • Training provided to build confidence in the role.\
  • Assembly and commissioning of industrial ovens including related tasks.\
  • Day-to-day installation and maintenance of services, within compliance with safety regulations; offsite backup tape maintenance as applicable.\
  • Ensure calibration documentation is entered into Asset Management System and kept up to date, including review of calibration records.\
  • Operate and maintain test machines and equipment; produce output aligned to production targets.\
  • As a Facilities Technician, ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the facility's infrastructure and equipment.\
  • Setup, operate, and maintain conventional or CNC machines such as milling, lathe, surface grinding, shaping, hobbing, broaching, and related machinery.\
  • Support reporting to Building Manager and Supervisor for general maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building facilities and equipment.\
  • Support repair and maintenance of ship navigation, communication, and related systems.\
  • Basic programming and debugging knowledge is required or advantageous.\
  • Exposure to production workflows and quality assurance processes.\
  • Opportunities for career progression into Senior Technician or Team Lead roles.\

    Salary:
    S$1,900 – S$2,200/month + Attendance & Transport Allowances + Performance Bonus

    Employment Type:
    Full-Time, Permanent

    Working Hours:
    Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (5-day work week)\
