The Wildlife Nutrition Centre plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal nutrition of over 15,000 animals across various wildlife parks. Our team is responsible for managing daily operations to deliver high-quality nutrition solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement and supply chain for animal feed and related supplies.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, curators, and the Scientific Programmes team to develop and implement evidence-based diets.
- Work with curators on methods of feeding and food presentation to encourage natural feeding behaviours.
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in central kitchen, commissary, wildlife nutrition, zoo or rescue centre operations, or animal feed management is required.
Applicants must have:
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management for feed and supplies.
- Quality control and inventory systems expertise.
- Leadership and team development skills in a high-compliance environment.
