Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead equipment design and development projects.

  • This senior role involves conducting equipment design and development work according to customer and internal specifications.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and controlling relevant documents related to R&D activities.
  • A key aspect of the job is generating detailed 2D/3D drawings.
  • In addition, you will need to raise Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) for design updates and follow up on approval.
  • You will also provide technical support to process & production, supply chain & QA for review and troubleshooting of designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
  • At least four years of experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design, with more experienced candidates considered for the senior position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and techniques.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or Autodesk/Auto CAD software is advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of material properties is required for this senior position.
  • Excellent communication, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
