About this role
- This is a Cloud Engineer position with focus on Azure, where you will be working with modern data platforms and tools like Databricks, Snowflake, ELT processes, and big data technologies.
We are looking for an experienced engineer to design and implement cloud-based data infrastructure to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting needs. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Azure, strong programming skills in Java and Python, and a deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and governance.
The responsibilities include architecting and designing cloud-based data infrastructure, leading the development and implementation of data pipelines (ELT/ETL) using Databricks, Spark, and other big data technologies, optimizing the use of cloud-native platforms like Snowflake for high-performance data warehousing and analytics, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and secure data architectures.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards, and experience in DevSecOps design and development within the Public Sector with relevant project clearances.
- Azure Data Engineer - Cloud
